Serve Self and Others for Nursing Success
Nurses, are you feeling tired from giving of yourself day after day? This next guest reminds us that a nursing career of service for others is a very special thing. And she also points out that this service towards others must start with service for self.
A few take aways from our interview with Terri Wiebold, BSN, HNB-BC, KRM, CMI include:
- How picking up the phone can lead to worlds of opportunity;
- Why following your heart helps you find your nursing purpose;
- And what serving yourself can do for your work with others!
Terri Wiebold, BSN, HNB-BC, KRM, CMI is a Certified Holistic Nurse managing a holistic nursing private practice since 1990, which specializes in therapeutic nutrition, medical intuition, energy therapies, and teaching these modalities. This allows Terri to bridge two ways of looking at the body: the “allopathic” or medical/clinical view, and the holistic, integrative medicine view. Often people assume that the way to treat a symptom is a “one size fits all” approach. Terri believes it can be both: each model complements the other, and there are also many times when a purely holistic approach is used treatment. Terri’s commitment to her clients is to empower individuals to listen to their inner knowing and make educated choices for healing. You can find out more and connect with Terri via her website, Facebook, or Instagram.
