Looking for some new possibilities in nursing? What about a bit of motivation that you CAN reach those goals? This next guest certainly provides us with that… and the reminder that anything is possible. We just need to show up and take action!

A few take aways from our interview with Rose include:

  • How nursing is more than a career destination;
  • Why follow through might just be the most important thing you do;
  • And what reading, traveling, and having fun can do for your nursing career!

Rose ShermanRose O. Sherman, EdD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN is the Director of the Nursing Leadership Institute and a Professor of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University.  She spent 25 years in nursing leadership in the Department of Veterans Affairs at five medical centers.  She is editor of Nurse Leader, the official journal of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and also editor of the blog www.emergingrnleader.com.
