Today’s show was a true gift. What an honor to interview a nurse of such caliber and experience. Barbara Dossey celebrates a 50 year nursing career, yet attributes her success to the collective collaboration of many.
Barbara’s energy can be felt on and offline and her enthusiasm shines through the microphone. In speaking with her, I learned that when we have a career goal- it not only takes our own personal drive and dedication to get it done. Where the magic really happens is when we bring like-minded people together.
During our interview, Barbara shared with us so many wonderful resources. For example,
- How setting up her day in a strategic way allows her to get everything done in a timely fashion;
- Why Florence Nightingale’s description of ‘work as a must’ energizes Barbara’s practice;
- And the various collaborative endeavors which is her way to bring her mantra ‘think big global to local’ to life!
This is an episode you don’t want to miss. Enjoy!
