Artistic Nursing Creates Connections
Nurses, it is time to be re-inspired. Feeling tired with your nursing role? Stuck in the medical model that attempts to stifle the nursing spirit? This next guest brings us back to the core of why it is that we nurse.
A few take aways from our interview with Caillyn Costello BSN Honors, Nursing Student include:
- How a good alarm clock is the tool of a great nurse;
- What looking at the patient as though he or she were an oil painting means;
- And why reflecting on fears spurs nursing career success!
Caillyn Costello BSN Honors, Nursing Student is a third year BSN honors student who studies at St. Catherine University’s recently endorsed Holistic Nursing program in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has completed clinical placement in both Ireland and the United States; both have provided her the opportunity to weave her holistic nursing education into everyday clinical practice. Caillyn recently accepted an internship position in Labor and Delivery where she hopes to continue her nursing education in the specialty of Midwifery. You can find out more and connect with Caillyn via Facebook or Instagram.
