It’s Elbow Surgery Day!
In this video in the series, “Elbow Surgery: A Patient’s Perspective“, we’re discussing the day of surgery and the surgery itself.
After I broke my arm, I was told I needed to have surgery. Since my injury happened suddenly, there wasn’t a lot of time for me to research surgeons.
Each person’s surgery is unique and their own, however I’d like to provide insights in order to give you a heads up as to what to expect.
The surgery itself was held in an outpatient surgical center. Surgery was approximately 2 hours. I was cared for by a prep nurse, surgical nurse, recovery nurse, an anesthesiologist, and the surgeon himself.
