Cut flowers make everything beautiful. Bring a special arrangement to a loved one. Decorate your next party with bursts of color. Or even just gift yourself with a cheery bouquet. I grow the annuals, herbs, and perennials in our dozens of gardens on the property. And I LOVE having cut flower arrangements all around the house… just as much as you do!

Getting these flowers to you is truly a labor of love, as each step in the sowing, transplanting, and growing on is done by hand.

We start the seeds in our greenhouse. The flowers are grown in our cut flower fields and perennial gardens at Creekside Hideaway.

Once the flowers are ready, we harvest and create the floral arrangements with care.

Meet Your Flower Farmer

Hey there!

I’m Elizabeth Scala, and I live with my husband and two dogs along Deer Creek in Parkton, MD.

In addition to “flower grower,” I’m also a holistic nurse, certified coach, registered yoga instructor, reiki master, and qigong facilitator.

I’ve LOVED plants all my life! In high school I worked at a florist, a county park, and an orchard. In 2021, I completed a technician certificate program focused on horticulture. More recently, I’ve worked at a nursery and volunteered at several local farms.

I’ve created and grown numerous perennial gardens, and even relocated lots of plants as we’ve moved throughout Baltimore & Harford counties. I love growing herbs, vegetables, and flowers.

Of course, I have cut flower arrangements on every table in my house! Contact me to talk about your flower needs.
