Jamie Davis, host of the popular podcast ‘The Nursing Show‘ offered my a wonderful opportunity with a chance to share during a nursing interview. My segment comes at the end of this nursing podcast, which is actually really great since Jamie has a whole host of relevant and useful information for nurses.

In this episode Jamie talks about a topic which I blogged on in a similar way last week. With his statements on healthcare myths he encourages the nursing profession to get out there and find our expert voice with the public. We know healthcare best. We work and live it every day. If we hear something that is false or misleading, as professional nurses we have a duty to speak up and stand up for what is right.

Jamie also highlights another topic that’s well-worth your time. So many nurses these days report a struggle to find that perfect nursing job. In another clip, Jamie shares one alternative nursing career that was reported on from Southern California. To me it shows the really innovative and creative ways that all of us can enjoy the profession of nursing. Using our unique gifts and talents to find the perfect nursing career that provides meaning and value to us on a daily basis; now that’s where it’s at.
