Working in a nurse team can be tough. We’ve got various roles, which can mean diverse personalities. Some co-workers we can get along with while others it may be a bit more challenging. Yet as we know- we’ve got to work in collaborative ways with our colleagues so that we can provide the best patient care.
We’ve come to our final video in our three-part series. Today I share with you two practical things you can do when you get in a room with difficult co-workers. And what’s even better- one you can use in the short term and the other is a more longer term tip. So what are they?
Well, here’s a video to share the answer to that question.
What do you think? Are these suggestions doable? Could you see yourself making these changes?
Sharing honestly from personal experience, I have done both. (Well, duh… I am teaching them to you in this video.) But in all seriousness, I have done them and, while sometimes they can be challenging, believe me… they can help you enjoy the workplace so much more!
I’d love to hear from you! What tips do you have for staying positive in the workplace? What can you add to the suggested techniques in this video blog? Leave a comment below and thanks for watching.
