Be Yourself for the Best Nursing Career
Nurses, get ready for a real nurse. That’s right- this next guest is all about authenticity and being yourself. Have fun, take action, and jump from time-to-time. That’s how this next nurse thrives in his nursing career.
A few take aways from our interview with Nurse Blake, BSN, RN include:
- How being yourself is the only way to show up as a nurse;
- What talking to others and asking questions can do for your professional growth;
- And why we all need a little pet therapy from time-to-time!
Nurse Blake, BSN, RN received his BSN from the University of Central Florida. He has worked in a number of healthcare roles throughout his career and has managed several large programs including Banned4Life, which ended an outdated FDA Blood Donor Policy. Today, Blake is an advocate for nurses and patients and encourages a healthy work environment. He is a writer, public speaker and has been a paid contributor to the New York Times. He’s also the creator of the fashionable and fun Scrub Romper! You can find out more and connect with Blake via his website, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
