You think a nurse is a jack of all trades… well, this next guest puts that analogy to shame. From flight attendant to comedian. From actor to journalist. This nurse has done and continues to do it all!
With us today is Dr. Candy Campbell, DNP, MSN, RN, CNL, FNAP, an educator and nurse-consultant who works with corporate and individual healthcare clients to achieve peak performance cultures.
She is also an award-winning actress, filmmaker, and author. Her third solo show is called, “Florence Nightingale- Live!”
A few take aways from our interview with Candy include:
- How an experience with airplane vomit launched a nursing career;
- What an experience as a standup comic can teach us about being a nurse;
- And why opportunity is the name of the game!
