Q: How are you offering the Your Next Shift Workshop?

A: Great question. While it is completely online, we will spend October 26 and 27 going through the content in real time together over the phone and with a virtual chat for additional camaraderie and connection. That means you can dress in your comfy clothes and not have to leave the comfort of your own home – and we’d love to have you join us. For more information, click here.

Q: Will contact hours be awarded for this program?

A: Yes! We are happy to report that this event has been approved for 10.75 CNE hours by the Maryland Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Participants will be awarded 10.75 credit hours for completing the Your Next Shift Workshop. The cost of your credit certificate is included in the price of participation. To qualify for hours, participants must do the following: Sign-in at the start and end of each breakout session (we will take attendance on the conference line and in the chat); Attend the entire activity; Complete and submit the Evaluation Form(s) at the end of the event.

Now, while we do encourage you to clear your calendar now so that you can attend the entire activity, we do understand that ‘life’ happens. And so, partial credit will be awarded for the calls that you do attend live. So, for example, if you attend one of the calls that is 90 minutes long and one of the calls that is 75 minutes long, you will receive 2.75 contact hours. Again, you will get the most value out of blocking your calendar and attending the entire event. Yet we did want you to know that partial credit is available. To join us, click here.

Q: So what if I DO have to miss one call? How will I keep up with the intensive? Will we be receiving any recordings or handouts?

A: Good question. Again, we cannot stress it enough that the most value will be received when you attend the entire event. However, so that you can keep up with the materials, watch them again and again, and continue to learn from the content you received we will be sharing a recorded PowerPoint version of the entire program after it is over. So each person that registers will go through the live two-day intensive with us on October 26 and 27 AND later that week will receive all of the content via voice-over PowerPoint. Now how does that sound? Pretty cool, huh!

Q: I’d like to attend but I’d rather go through this virtual intensive with a friend. Can I bring someone?

A: Absolutely! I totally understand. Attending a nursing workshop is so much more fun when a colleague comes along. Bring one, two, three or more! Want some more awesome news? All regular ticket holders may Bring-A-Friend (spouse, colleague, friend, family member, team member, etc.) for a one-time non-refundable $97- fee. What that also means is that if you have someone you’d like to split the ticket fee with, you are most welcomed to do that (working the details out amongst yourselves).
