Step 4 in Nursing from Within™: Your Authentic Self

by | Oct 20, 2014 | 0 comments

In a video from two weeks ago, we talked about appreciation. And how fun this can be. Allowing for appreciation opens us up for more great things that we can find to appreciate.

Yet sometimes the nay-sayers view this as ‘wishful thinking’ or ‘Pollyanna nonsense’. They’ll try to tell you that you’re not living in the real world and focusing on the joy is crap.

This past month I have had the joy of watching my book do incredibly well. The support I am receiving from my fellow nurse bloggers as part of my virtual book tour makes me smile wide each day.

And the really fun thing about this experience? I get to be my creative, upbeat and enthusiastic self. I get to use my artistic side. I get to interact with others and have fun. I get to be strategic, organized and visionary.

I get to be myself.

This is what the final part of the Nursing from Within™ process is all about. Finding out who you are, welcoming this authentic self and enjoying the way that you shine in a way that no other being can.

Enjoy this video and I’d love to hear from you. Please leave a comment below. Enjoy your health today.
