What do you think is the most important thing? Is it your family? Your religion? Your health? What if I told you that ‘presence’ is the most important asset you have as a nurse professional?

Being present has been described as being mindful, aware or at attention. To me, as a nurse with a busy nursing career, presence means conscious. When we are fully conscious of our thoughts, how powerful they are, and how much influence they hold over our emotions and actions- we can excel in any career as a nurse.

Enjoy this video as I take you through step one, ‘Presence’ in the Nursing from Within™ process.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the video. Feel free to leave a comment, question or reflection below. Thank you for watching and enjoy the day!
